I was explaining to the kids the other day why adults say kids are like sponges—actually I just asked them if they knew why adults said that and they were able to explain it pretty well themselves—anyway, I decided to have some fun with it and came up with this idea: sponge reading trackers/bookmarks. They were fun to make and the kids really enjoyed them. :)
